influenza

December.6.2005

The human immune system sucks. We’ve been on this planet for 10,000 and some-odd years, and yet we still have this crap job immune sytem that falls apart at a moments notice. I mean, if you think about it, diabetes isn’t that sophisticated in the way in which is attacks the body- it’s adapted to look like the insulin cells in the liver so as to confuse white blood cells. Influenza, the flu, tricks our RNA into replicating it’s DNA instead of ours. So easily duped is the system.

So since my immune system is stone-age and the viruses cleverer by the bunch, I’m sitting here, hacking up half my lung, if I haven’t already finished the left one at PYC.

Cute. Thats’ about all I have to say.
